Learn In Faith Together
Our Children are important.
As a congregation we regularly (during the Sacrament of Baptism) promise to care for and nurture our children.
As part of our Sunday worship St. Andrew’s by the Sea is offering a Christian Education program for children from 2 years of age to High School.
During the early part of the service the children retire to their various classes; and through stories and activities discover more about the Christian faith.
Material follows the lectionary Bible readings set out for each Sunday.
A rostered team of volunteers support the program.
The young children then return to the worship service toward the end of the service for a time of sharing with the WHOLE congregation the things they have been learning and doing.
Creative Options
St. Andrew’s by the Sea Uniting Church, Jetty Road, Glenelg, South Australia, seeks to provide all-age worship and learning opportunities for all people.
